Add SPH PIckle Padel to Singapore’s growing list of pickleball venues. The new location at 9 Somapah Road is fully indoors and is air-conditioned, making it an ideal spot for pickleball lovers in the Lion City. In total, SPH Pickle Padel houses six dedicated courts for pickleball that players can rent out for SGD $30 per hour.

SPH Pickle Padel also boasts an in-house equipment store where you can rent  or purchase paddles and balls. Its in-house staff is also available if you need guidance or coaching. What’s more, the venue even has a dedicated warm-up and cool-down zone equipped with bikes and resistance bands.

The recent opening of SPH Pickle Padel couldn’t have come at a better time as pickleball is fast gaining popularity in Singapore. The only problem is that there aren’t that many courts to play in thus far, making it difficult to book a dedicated venue to enjoy the sport fully.

SPH Pickle Padel, though, isn’t just a pickleball venue. It also features three courts exclusively for padel, another sport that’s becoming more and more popular. If you aren’t familiar with padel, it’s another high-energy type of racquet sport that’s played in doubles, kind of like a blend of tennis and squash.
