Yes, pickleball has a Hall of Fame! In fact, it already has 33 inductees and counting. Among them are Joel Pritchard, the “Father of Pickleball”; Barney MacCallum, one of the sport’s co-inventors; and Jennifer Dawson, the first Triple Crown winner of the sport.

On Tuesday, the Pickleball Hall of Fame added to that list as it announced the Class of 2025 inductees—competitors Cammy MacGregor and Chris “Mills” Miller and contributor Melissa McCurley. The group will be officially inducted during an awards banquet in Surprise, Arizona on 5–6 November 2025.

“The Selection Committee carefully reviews each nomination provided by the nomination committee, to make sure they meet the guidelines as individuals who have achieved exceptional results throughout their pickleball career, as well as those who have made extraordinary contributions to the growth, development, and leadership of the game,” said Fran Myer, 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee and chairperson of the selection committee. “We are so proud of this year’s class. This class includes an early pioneer of the sport, a former top level tennis pro, and a former Navy Hospital Corpsman.”

John Gullo, 2024 Hall of Fame contributor inductee in the class 2024 and president of the Pickleball Hall of Fame board of directors, added; “We offer sincere and enthusiastic congratulations to each of these incredible individuals. Their years of hard work and dedication to the sport, both as competitors and contributors, is a testament to the worldwide acceptance of Pickleball as a premiere sporting opportunity and inclusion activity. We look forward to honoring each at our annual awards banquet.”

Miller has over 100 career gold medals, is a 10-time National Champion and Open Pro Singles Champion (2010). As a high school PE teacher, he taught pickleball throughout his teaching career, introducing the sport to hundreds of students. He served as Head Pickleball Pro at Bobby Riggs Racquet & Paddle for four years. A fierce competitor, Miller was the 2023 NPL World Champion.

MacGregor, meanwhile, is a former pro tennis player who competed on the WTA tour for 10 years. She started playing pickleball in 2015, where her love of the sport inspired her to introduce it to members of Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, CA. Cammy has won 22 major Pickleball Championship, including; 2018 US Open Senior Pro Singles, Tournament of Champions Doubles, USA pickleball National Champions Senior Pro Doubles and US Open Senior Pro Doubles.

Finally, McCurley is a former U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman. In 2014, she became involved with pickleball when she took ownership and operation of PickleballTournaments.com and transformed it into a global powerhouse, delivering technology, operational consulting, and data services for pickleball. She was the first woman commentator of Pickleball events for CBS Sports, was named the “Most Influential Person in Pickleball” by sports Media, and was the recepient of the 2022 US Open Impact Award.

With 33 current members of the Pickleball Hall of Fame, the hall represents both players and contributors to the sport. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world. The International Pickleball Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have achieved exceptional results both as players and contributors to the growth, development and leadership of the game.
